Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Palmetto Ridge). They breezed past the South Fort Myers Wolfpack to the tune of 66-17 on Wednesday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 51-8.

Amberly Rios had another great game (as she tends to do), shooting 69% from the field en route to 22 points and five steals. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Kelaisha Pacheco, who posted nine points and four steals.

Palmetto Ridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in seven consecutive contests.

Palmetto Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for South Fort Myers, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Palmetto Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 55-33 win against Lely on the 12th. As for South Fort Myers, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-10 loss against Canterbury on the 11th.
