Softball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View fell victim to Uintah and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Utes. The Bruins have struggled against the Utes recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Uintah, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Mountain View will challenge Payson at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bruins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 10.4 runs per game this season. As for Uintah, they will take on Provo at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.94 runs per game on average), something the Utes will no doubt try to take advantage of.
