Softball Recap: Mcdonell Central Falls Short of Pacelli in the Playoffs

McDonell Central and Pacelli squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but McDonell Central had to settle for second. They fell 3-0 to the Cardinals. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Macks haven't been shut out since back in May.

With the defeat, McDonell Central broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-9. As for Pacelli, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 30-1.

McDonell Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pacelli, they will face off against Mishicot on Saturday. The Indians will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
