Liberty had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They put the hurt on the Hargrave Falcons with a sharp 7-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

Zander Davila spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Liberty saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenan Clevenger, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Liberty's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9 runs. As for Hargrave, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-8-2.
