Soccer Recap: North Vermilion Snags Sixth Victory in Last Eight Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Iberia, North Vermilion was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Beau Chene Gators onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won seven contests by four goals or more so far this season.

North Vermilion is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those eight games. As for Beau Chene, they dropped their record down to 8-11-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

North Vermilion will host St. Thomas More at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beau Chene, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against DeRidder on the 18th.
