Bangor had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They strolled past the Shullsburg Miners with points to spare, taking the game 57-42. For the Cardinals, this counts as revenge for the 47-44 win the Miners walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.

Bangor's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Shullsburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-2.

Bangor won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Stratford at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Stratford will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Bangor surely won't give up without a fight. As for Shullsburg, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Highland at 7:00 p.m. on January 30, 2025.
