Baseball Game Preview: Grand Street Campus Wolves vs. John Jay Wolves

Grand Street Campus is on a three-game streak of home wins, while John Jay is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. Grand Street Campus will host John Jay at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Grand Street Campus 2.1, John Jay 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Grand Street Campus' pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Brooklyn Technical as they made off with a 10-0 win. Considering the Wolves have won seven contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, John Jay sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over Van Arsdale on Thursday. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

John Jay's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Grand Street Campus, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
