Basketball Recap: Madonna Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

Madonna extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Koleton Grishkevich. The Madonna Blue Dons strolled past the Beallsville Blue Devils with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 56-37 thanks in part to Grishkevich, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Andre Crossland was another key player, putting up eight points and nine boards. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played.

Madonna has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Beallsville, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Madonna wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 77-60 win against Trinity Christian on the 30th. Beallsville has also already played their next game (against Tuscarawas Central Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
