Football Game Preview: Minor Tigers vs. Northridge Jaguars + How To Watch

The Minor Tigers will challenge the Northridge Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Minor is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

On Friday, Minor ended up a good deal behind Homewood and lost 31-14. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 146th, while the Patriots are ranked 30th).

Despite their loss, Minor saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Tommie Burts, who threw for 185 yards and one TD, was perhaps the best of all. A healthy portion of that aerial production (92 yards to be exact) went to Dominic White.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Northridge took on Bessemer City last Friday. The Jaguars fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 19-16. The game marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Northridge now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Minor, they now also have a losing record of 4-5.
