Softball Recap: Hartland Triumphs

While Hartland's win against Salem wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles' pitcher stepped up to hand the Rocks a 2-0 shutout on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Rocks: they've now won seven in a row.

The result came thanks to Olivia Forrest's shutout, as she gave up just seven hits.

On the hitting side, Skylar Spisz was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Sadie Malik, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.
