Volleyball Recap: Florence Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Florence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lexington Golden Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15.

Lexington was led to victory by Macy Davis and Katelyn Sullivan. Davis had six digs and three aces, while Sullivan had five digs and one assist.

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 5-27. As for Lexington, their win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 22-27.

Florence does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lexington, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against West Limestone on the 11th.
