Softball Recap: Elton Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Elton's offense. They came up short against the Plainview Hornets on Thursday, falling 16-0. The Indians' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Elton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dynver Gradney, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Elton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Plainview, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Elton will take on Port Barre at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Plainview, they will square off against Northwood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
