Volleyball Recap: Parkland Find Success

Parkland won the last time they faced North Catholic and things went their way on Saturday too. Parkland came out on top against North Catholic by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Parkland.

While Parkland won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23.

Riley Schilling paced Parkland's offense, picking up six kills. Schilling got some help from Alex Serina and her 14 assists. Serina was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Parkland has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Twin Valley on the 6th. As for North Catholic, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Holy Name at 12:00 p.m. on the 27th.
