Baseball Recap: Sparta Academy Takes a Loss

Sparta Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-0 to the Snook Christian Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-1 defeat on Monday.

Sparta Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyler Barlow, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Sparta Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Snook Christian Academy, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Snook Christian Academy beat Sparta Academy by a score of 13-0 later that day.
