Helias had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the eight-goal drubbing they dealt Jefferson City on Wednesday. The Crusaders never let the Jays get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Helias, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Helias' win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Jefferson City, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-9-1.
