Basketball Recap: Marion-Franklin Takes a Loss

Marion-Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the West Cowboys an easy 67-47 victory. The Red Devils were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cowboys from their previous meeting back in January.

Marion-Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for West, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marion-Franklin and Independence will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Marion-Franklin is facing Independence at the right time seeing as Independence is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for West, they will head out on the road to challenge South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
