Volleyball Recap: Ida Baker Comes Up Short

Ida Baker lost against Estero back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Wildcats.

While Ida Baker was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Estero's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 25-19.

Ida Baker has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Estero, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-7.

Ida Baker wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against North Fort Myers on the 9th. As for Estero, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Riverdale on the 9th.
