KIPP Denver Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 45-19 to the Vail Christian Saints. The White Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-4.

When it comes to explaining why KIPP Denver Collegiate lost, don't look at Nicole Ricalday. Despite the final result, she posted eight points along with 11 rebounds and five blocks. Ricalday is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played. Lily Martinez also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Even though they lost, KIPP Denver Collegiate smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

KIPP Denver Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Vail Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.
