Basketball Recap: Saturday's Loss Ends Seymour's Winning Streak

It was fun while it lasted, but Seymour's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Saturday. They came up short against the Foran Lions, falling 66-45. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Seymour still got an impressive performance from Joey Carrafiello, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Carrafiello's afternoon made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Shane White, who posted nine points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Seymour fell to 4-1. As for Foran, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Seymour will head out to take on Watertown at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Foran, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against West Haven at 12:15 p.m.
