Basketball Recap: Windsor Takes a Loss

If Windsor was riding high fresh off their 45-18 takedown of Surry County last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Windsor Dukes were beaten by the Brunswick Bulldogs 63-16 on Friday. The Dukes have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Brunswick, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windsor won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Petersburg at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Brunswick, they will head out on the road to challenge Surry County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
