Softball Recap: Chisholm Trail Takes a Loss

Chisholm Trail fell victim to Aledo and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 17-0 to the Bearcats. The Rangers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Chisholm Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12-1. As for Aledo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Chisholm Trail will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Saginaw at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Aledo, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-0 win against Fossil Ridge on the 8th.
