They greeted the New Year with with a 49-35 win over Morgan Park Academy. For British International School of Chicago, this counts as revenge for the 69-55 loss Morgan Park Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead British International School of Chicago to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ben Sheward, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sebastion Mack, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds.
British International School of Chicago now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Morgan Park Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. British International School of Chicago will challenge Lycee Francais de Chicago at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lycee Francais de Chicago will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Morgan Park Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Beacon Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
