After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bloomfield, Avon was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wayland-Cohocton Eagles. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Avon now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Wayland-Cohocton, they moved to 10-5 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Avon will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Caledonia-Mumford at 6:30 p.m. As for Wayland-Cohocton, they will head out on the road to challenge Hornell at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
