Soccer Game Preview: West Fork vs. Splendora

The West Fork Gators will head out on the road to square off against the Splendora Wildcats at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. West Fork's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 11 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Wednesday, West Fork and Porter finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Splendora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Crosby. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by just one goal.

West Fork's draw makes their record 0-9-2 this season. As for Splendora, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1.

West Fork came up short against Splendora in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, falling 3-1. Can West Fork avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
