Baseball Recap: Syracuse Takes a Loss

Syracuse's last matchup with Davis could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Titans lost 6-0 to the Darts. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Titans were not able to get on the board.

Syracuse is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8. As for Davis, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Syracuse will take on Layton at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Davis, they will face off against Fremont at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Darts' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Silverwolves have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season.
