Forest Hills's Shawn Dell rumbled for the longest rushing play in Laurel Highlands this season in his game against Philipsburg-Osceola last week. Dell scampered for 91 yards on the play and finished with 197 on the day as his team defeated the Mountaineers.

Richland extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Bellwood-Antis, 14-7. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Rams.

Somerset's dynamic duo of Tanner Stull and Zach Baker proved tough for Penn Cambria to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Stull threw for 198 yards and two touchdowns and Baker had 77 yards receiving. Bryce Mostoller helped Somerset's passing attack out by catching two balls for 48 yards.

Kyle Flick made the biggest impact on defense this week as Richland topped the Blue Devils. The 6-foot-0 junior grabbed two interceptions.

Richland's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Rams feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matt Shaffer has thrown for 1323 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Flick has 36 catches for 611 yards. Tanner Solarczyk leads the league in rushing with 1405 yards.

Sam Curry has rushed for 942 yards on 214 carries so far this year.

A big matchup in Laurel Highlands this week will be when Brandon Bailey's team takes on the Panthers. The Rams are currently in first, while Penn Cambria is in sixth.

Westmont Hilltop was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from 11th to ninth in the league. The Hilltoppers beat Bishop Carroll 16-6 earlier in the week.
