Flag Football Recap: Gateway Olympians vs. Northglenn Norsemen
Saturday just wasn't the day for Gateway's offense. They were outmatched by the Northglenn Norsemen and fell 49-0. The Olympians lost against the Norsemen in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 1-0 score last time.
Kaitlyn Fujinami continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Northglenn, rushing for 86 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 145 yards and three TDs. What's more, Fujinami posted two rushing touchdowns, the most she's had since back in August. Another player making a difference was Vanessa Rodriguez, who picked up 59 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Gateway's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Northglenn, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
