Pinewood Prep has gone a perfect 10-0 against First Baptist School recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers will face off against the Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. Pinewood Prep will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Pinewood Prep had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the nine-goal drubbing they dealt Hilton Head Christian Academy on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Eagles. Considering Pinewood Prep have won ten matches by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Hilton Head Christian Academy from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Paisleigh Dasinger led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten goals the game before, First Baptist School was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against Porter-Gaud, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, First Baptist School can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while Porter-Gaud are ranked fifth).

Pinewood Prep pushed their record up to 14-3-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 44 goals over those six games. As for First Baptist School, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Pinewood Prep took their victory against First Baptist School in their previous matchup last Tuesday by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
