Soccer Game Preview: Roy vs. West Field

The Roy Royals will face off against the West Field Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Roy turned things around against Bonneville on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lakers a 1-0 shutout. Cayden Fullerton had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Roy.

Meanwhile, West Field came up short against Northridge on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

West Field's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Roy, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-11.
