Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Poquoson). Everything went their way against the Bruton Panthers on Friday as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Islanders in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won seven in a row.

Poquoson picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 5-3. As for Bruton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Poquoson will face off against New Kent at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Islanders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bruton, they will take on Lafayette at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
