Recap: Dixon Bulldogs vs. South Lenoir Blue Devils
The Dixon Bulldogs entered their tilt with the South Lenoir Blue Devils with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Dixon walked away with a 68-59 win over South Lenoir on Wednesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Dixon got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Grady Adams out in front who scored 18 points. Adams hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Brayden Anderson-Sidbury, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Dixon's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for South Lenoir, they bumped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Dixon will face off against South Lenoir at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Lenoir, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ayden - Grifton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Ayden - Grifton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than South Lenoir in North Carolina (Ayden - Grifton is ranked 117th, while South Lenoir is ranked 476th).
