Football Game Recap: Quincy vs. Wapato

After a disappointing 0 points in their last match, Quincy made sure to put some points up on the board against Wapato on Friday. Quincy were the clear victor by a 43-17 margin over Wapato. That result was just more of the same for Quincy, who also won the last time these teams played.

Quincy got off to a slow start in their contest last week, but they had no such trouble against Wapato as they cruised to a 25-point first half. Meanwhile, Wapato couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 25-0 heading into the break. Quincy put the contest away in the third quarter with 12 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. The win got them back to even at 2-2. The defeat dropped Wapato's record to 1-4.

Quincy will stay at home next week against Ephrata at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous games. Wapato will look to defend their home turf against Selah at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
