Softball Recap: Patterson Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

The home team had won the previous six meetings between Patterson and Centerville, and Patterson kept the tradition alive. Patterson never let Centerville get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Lumberjacks, who have now won six contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Patterson has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Centerville and nudges their season record down to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Patterson will square off against Morgan City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Patterson is facing Morgan City at the right time seeing as Morgan City is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Centerville, they will challenge Delcambre at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Delcambre will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Centerville surely won't give up without a fight.
