Basketball Game Preview: Ipswich Tigers vs. Northwestern Area Wildcats

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Ipswich Tigers challenge the Northwestern Area Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday... Ipswich is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Ipswich ended up a good deal behind Timber Lake and lost 51-37. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Northwestern Area opened the new year with a less-than-successful 50-41 defeat to Warner.

Ipswich now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Northwestern Area, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Ipswich against Northwestern Area when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 64-34 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ipswich since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
