Volleyball Recap: Pineapple Cove Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Master's Academy, falling 3-0. If Pineapple Cove Classical Academy was looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Master's Academy when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-9, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Pineapple Cove Classical Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Iyani Alerte had 14 digs and three aces.

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Master's Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Melbourne Central Catholic on the 6th. As for Master's Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Faith Christian on the 3rd.
