Basketball Recap: Rancho Victorious

It's playoff time, and Rancho had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Valley Vikings by a score of 43-30 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Taylor Dagons was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double with 25 points and nine rebounds. Her evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Claudia Vargas-Arellano, who posted nine points and four steals.

Rancho now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Rancho has already played their next contest, a 63-36 defeat against Foothill on the 11th. Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
