Chichester is a perfect 10-0 against Academy Park since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will challenge the Knights at 1:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Chichester made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles fell just short of the Friars/Pandas by a score of 4-2 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since March 18th.

Zach Murray spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits.

On the hitting side, Chichester saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Werley, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Academy Park's offense. They lost 15-0 to Interboro on Thursday. The Knights' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Academy Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Chichester, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.

Everything went Chichester's way against Academy Park when the teams last played back in April, as Chichester made off with a 15-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
