Recap: Millersburg Indians vs. Delone Catholic Squires
The Millersburg Indians lost against the Delone Catholic Squires back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Millersburg took a serious blow against Delone Catholic, falling 48-20. Millersburg was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-5.
Millersburg's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nolan Schreffler, who scored 4 points along with 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamdyn Heintzelman, who scored 7 points.
Millersburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Delone Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millersburg will play host again and welcome West Shore Christian Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Delone Catholic, they will be playing at home against Camp Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
