Softball Recap: Saginaw Takes a Loss

Saginaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Granbury Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 back in March.

Saginaw's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Granbury, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-11-1 record.

Coincidentally, Saginaw and Granbury will both be playing Azle the next time they take the field. The Rough Riders will host the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Pirates will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
