Basketball Recap: Tenafly Beats Fort Lee for Their Ninth Straight Win

Tenafly put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Fort Lee Bridgemen, posting a 69-39 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Fort Lee lost, don't look at Guy Vickers. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Vickers is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jun Hue Lee, who posted seven points.

Tenafly's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Fort Lee, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Tenafly has already played their next match (against Bergenfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fort Lee will square off against Westwood at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
