After a string of 13 wins, Wenonah's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell to the Midfield Patriots 57-52. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-56 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Wenonah still got an impressive performance from Samarian Franklin, who posted 23 points in addition to eight assists and eight boards. That was a full 44.2% of Wenonah's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Aariyanah Parker, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds.

Wenonah's loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins and brought them to 24-4. As for Midfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.

Wenonah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Midfield has already played their next matchup (against Comer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
