Softball Recap: D'iberville Has No Trouble Against Bay

D'Iberville had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Bay Tigers with a sharp 14-5 victory on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Warriors have posted since March 2, 2024.

Emerson Hall made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only a hit over four innings pitched. Hall was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, D'Iberville let Raegan Dellenger and Kinney Jurich loose on the outfield. Dellenger scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Jurich scored two runs while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Dellenger a new career-high in hits (two).

D'Iberville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against West Harrison on the 13th. As for Bay, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Biloxi at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
