Volleyball Recap: Kewaunee Takes a Loss

Kewaunee lost against Brillion back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Storm fell 3-1 to the Lions.

Kewaunee started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-15, 25-13, 25-14.

When it comes to explaining why Kewaunee lost, don't look at London Karnopp. Despite the final result, she had 13 assists and ten digs. Karnopp is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Kewaunee's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Brillion, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-3.

Kewaunee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Sturgeon Bay on the 18th. As for Brillion, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Sheboygan Falls on the 18th.
