The Cass City Red Hawks are taking a road trip to take on the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. Cass City is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

Cass City lost 9-1 to Richmond on Friday. The Red Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cass City saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryker Wallace, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that Wallace has launched this season.

Meanwhile, Croswell-Lexington fell victim to Notre Dame Prep and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fighting Irish. That's two games in a row now that the Pioneers have lost by exactly four runs.

Croswell-Lexington now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Cass City, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
