Soccer Recap: Northumberland Comes Up Short

Northumberland lost against Lancaster back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Indians came up short against the Red Devils, falling 5-0. Northumberland just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Northumberland's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lancaster, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-3.

Looking ahead, Northumberland will be playing in front of their home fans against Rappahannock at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lancaster, they will venture away from home to face off against Arcadia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lancaster will be up against Arcadia's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.5 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
