Soccer Recap: Connellsville Comes Up Short

Connellsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Peters Township Indians, falling 5-2. If Connellsville were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to Peters Township when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Connellsville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Peters Township, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Connellsville is set to challenge their familiar foe Canon-McMillan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Peters Township will face off against rival Upper St. Clair at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
