Softball Recap: Forreston Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Forreston's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pearl City Wolves on Tuesday. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Aubrey Sanders spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

Forreston's loss dropped their record down to 3-22. As for Pearl City, they moved to 14-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

While Forreston had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
