Volleyball Game Preview: Faith Academy Flames vs. Keystone Cobras

The Faith Academy Flames will venture away from home to challenge the Keystone Cobras at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Faith Academy has nine straight wins, Keystone has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Faith Academy will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Live Oak Classical, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Flames blew past the Falcons 3-0 on Tuesday.

Faith Academy never let Live Oak Classical on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Keystone lost 3-0 to SA S last Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20, 25-3.

Faith Academy's victory bumped their record up to 24-6. As for Keystone, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13-1.

Faith Academy took their win against Keystone when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Flames since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
