Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Parsons). They walked away with a 76-64 win over the Independence Bulldogs on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won five contests in a row.

Parsons' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points over those games. As for Independence, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, Parsons and Independence will both be playing Chanute the next time they take the court. Independence will host Chanute at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Parsons will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
