Recap: Timpanogos Timberwolves vs. Bountiful RedHawks
The Timpanogos Timberwolves put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 54-48 victory over Bountiful. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Timpanogos has scored all season.
Timpanogos got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaxen Mccuistion out in front who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. The contest was Mccuistion's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Johnson, who scored 15 points along with five assists.
Timpanogos pushed their record up to 9-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Bountiful, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.
Timpanogos will head out on the road to face off against Cedar Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Valley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 170 points over their last three matches. Bountiful will be home for the holidays to greet Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Fremont is ranked 32nd, while Bountiful is ranked 15th).
